I am completely obsessed with the 70s chic look right now. There is something so effortlessly chic about the way the pieces come together to create a sense of beauty and strength. I love the bold patterns, platform shoes, and fur. I just cannot get over how amazing all the pieces are and as spring is finally approaches I will definitely be wearing a lot of 70s inspired looks.
First things first, I am not a huge fan of cold weather. After living in London for twelve years, I was beyond ready to move to a place where winter rarely was an issue- for the most part Austin has fulfilled my desire to completely avoid winter. Despite Austin's great record so far, it has been absolutely freezing this past week! Even though I don't like the cold, I have been inspired to find some amazing cold weather style inspiration to help motivate myself to put effort into looking cute while its cold rather than only wearing my sweats and super comfy fleece...which has been happening way too often lately....Here are some of my favorite cold weather looks!
In a couple of hours I will be getting my wisdom teeth out, so I will spend my final week of Christmas break recovering. As bad as I may feel, I cannot wait to spend my week indulging in everything comfy and cozy. Even without my soon to be dental procedure, I love creating the perfect cozy environment, so I can maximize my comfort level. More often than not my comfort depends on a huge mug full of coffee, the perfect throw, and my newest addition of Ugg slippers. 1. Ugg Slippers 2. Leggings 3. Sweater 4. Candle 5. Books 6. Throw 7. Crazy Stupid Love 8. Friends With Benefits 9. Bridesmaids
Eeek! Downton Abbey is finally coming back tonight, and I am beyond excited. I am completely obsessed with Downton Abbey- especially the costumes. So, in honor of the shows return to TV, I have collected some amazing examples of Downton-inspired fashions that the British part of me cannot resist!
